IV Hydration Therapy Q & A

IV Therapy Q & A

What is IV Therapy?

Intravenous (IV) Therapy is the process of administering fluids and nutrients directly into a vein to enter the bloodstream. Fluids can be administered on their own to rehydrate the body, or they can be given with the addition of vitamins, minerals and amino acids to allow for 100% absorption of these nutrients.

What are the benefits of IV Therapy?

When taking vitamins orally, only a percentage of these nutrients are absorbed by the body due to the digestive process. IV Therapy is a great way to bypass the traditional absorption process and get immediate, maximum absorption of the vitamins and nutrients directly into the bloodstream. Many people are chronically dehydrated, so replenishing your body with fluids can help with energy, circulation, digestion, and liver and kidney detoxification among many other things.

What types of IV Therapies do you offer?

We offer several different IV Therapy treatment options including Basic Hydration, Hydration Express, Refresh & Rehydrate (similar to a Myer’s cocktail), Athletic Performance & Recovery, Immune Boost, and a Hangover Helper.

How soon will I see results?

Most people notice results within 24-72 hours after the infusion. The effects of IV Therapy are fast-acting, and many people notice a difference almost immediately feeling rehydrated, energized, and refreshed.

How long does it take?

Our infusions typically last about 60 minutes. If you are short on time, we also offer an express option with a smaller amount of fluids that can be done in about 30 minutes.

Is there anything I need to know before my infusion?

Be sure to eat something within a few hours before your infusion. It is also helpful to drink plenty of water before and during your treatment. Before we begin, we will perform a brief assessment to make sure you are a good candidate for IV Therapy.
